Thank you for your consideration.
I want to keep writing about Medora. Why do I think The Medora Foundation is so important? I think a Foundation with a simple mission of promoting summer work is very important. Even the most simple job should be worked with a sense of decency and aptitude. I also though the concept of volunteer work was very interesting. People from around the country would volunteer for The Medora Foundation. They seemed to be having such a good time.
I also thought the dorms were very impressive. My room had a television with cable, a refrigerator, a microwave, and more. It was more or less all a young person would need in early life. I think this could serve as a good prototype for housing design for cities, suburbs, and rural environments. How much space do you really need?
I also think Medora is the most walk-able place I have lived. Everglades City is a close second. In Everglades City, you can drive to Naples. In Medora, you can drive to Dickinson. I think these walk-able towns are ideal for socialization, fun, and more. You could stay here without a car for a week; I did so for approximately two months or so.
From any of the hotels, you can walk for a meal, to the C-Store, to the post office.
Want to learn more about small towns, under the radar destinations, places, and products?? Even if you are not a member or subscriber, we can decide on a service fee and I will help you to get the most out your visit to unique places like Medora.
