Investing in Land isn't as easy as it seems.
I invested in Land in North Port, Florida -- and sold it for a profit.
It was a good experience, but I'm not sure I'd do it again. If I did, it would be to develop the land for recreational purposes, not so much as an Investment.
I may buy another plot of land at some point to create a recreational plot. You need ot keep in mind building codes and county codes as well, though. Municipalities don't want people just free-for-all-ing their land in residential neighborhoods. A rural plot may be more suitable.
