Maybe. Could Be. I Think So.

Don’t be so sure of yourself.


Sometimes people make strong and emphatic statements. The goal, I think, is to show confidence and strength.


But there is also a strength in uncertainty, doubt, and not being sure. Maybe and Could be are great ways to think through things.


Instead of making strong and sure statements, sometimes it helps to be unsure. Then, you can wrestle with the thought over time and see how you really feel.


Don’t be so sure of yourself!


I guess the flip side is being too doubtful or unsure. I’ll save that for another piece of writing.
